How does the body and soul change during pregnancy
Adaptation time – first trimester of pregnancy
From the first day of pregnancy, your body concentrates on new tasks: the first weeks and months are characterized by adaptation to the unique situation and emotional duality. You are experiencing the time of the restructuring of the body when the whole system is configured for maximum physical performance.
You look, as before, has not yet rounded the tummy, and the rest of life goes on. You will feel much more evident that your body is not in its usual state: your breasts become much more sensitive and tense, you will get more tired, and in the morning’s everything will last twice as long. Your heart will beat faster, sometimes you will breathe more often, and your emotions will be opposed. Many women are not sure whether they are doing everything correctly and whether they are ready for their new task. These thoughts are important to parents and are the first part of the birth of communication.
It may happen that now you will feel the smell more acutely, there will be an aversion to certain foods or, conversely, the appetite will suddenly wake up, as well as notorious nausea that torments pregnant women in the first trimester. At this time, in some women, the skin of the face becomes hypersensitive and more oily. It is during this period that you feel that you need special care and support.
Be patient! Symptoms of restructuring the body will soon pass. Adaptation lasts from the 12th to the 16th week, and then there comes a time of well-being.
- Relax and enjoy
- Wellness time: second trimester of pregnancy
- “A new life is developing. All natural forces are revealed. ”
Inside you, a new life is actively developing, and in your body, the forces are revealed for its maintenance, inherent. The nausea of the first weeks passes, the stomach is rounded, but so far it is still quite small. For several weeks, you know that inside you is a new life, but now you also feel it.
At first, these sensations resemble the gentle fluttering of a butterfly in the stomach; then they become more intense. The baby is mainly active at night when the body relaxes, and the child has more free space for movement. You will undoubtedly be happy with the realization that your baby is moving, it means – he is well.
By the way, each emotion causes the production of various hormones in the body. Sometimes these are hormones of happiness; sometimes they are stress hormones. They penetrate through the mother’s womb to the baby, who experiences the same emotions as you. Thanks to such training, having been born, he will already be able to experience the whole spectrum of human feelings.
All this time, the child develops and grows, the belly is more and more rounded, the waist disappears, and because for the increased blood volume, many women more often sweat. Your legs begin to respond to fluid retention and the growing uterus, which squeezes the venous vessels, worsening the outflow of blood.
A small creature, not yet born, is already present in your life, causing more and more questions in your head. What bed will fit into the apartment? Whether to buy a pram, baby sling, or both? How will the baby be born: in the maternity hospital, clinic or at home? Do as your heart dictates, rely on your intuition: every child, every person, fortunately, is an individual.
Stress time: third trimester of pregnancy
The path is almost complete: only a few weeks are left before birth! Only 4% of children are born by a pre-calculated period: some are taken earlier, others need more time to be ready for life outside of their mother’s tummy. Let everything go more calmly in recent weeks. Now is the time to relax as the often as possible.
Consciously enjoy the pastime together, as a couple, as soon there will be three of you! The desire to finally take the baby in your arms will continuously increase. Sometimes this desire appears because pregnancy becomes tedious, at night it becomes more difficult to choose a comfortable sleeping position. During the day, your back or tired legs are more likely to bother you. Probably, the child is pressing on the bladder, which causes you to get up more often at night. But then, when you can hardly expect it, it all begins: you sincerely wish yourself even a little more time.
